Annual Report
Youth Missions International is excited to have had the opportunity to continue to do the ministry God has for us. Now entering our third year, we have seen hundreds of children come to know the Lord as a result of training and sending young people into the mission field. While this has been encouraging, even more encouraging are the young people who have come home from our trips changed forever and ready to tell people about Jesus no matter where they are. YMI is equipping and empowering young people to live their lives as if they are always in a mission field. This, of course, cannot be done without the faithful commitment of people who have supported YMI with prayers and through giving. While some give in order for the trips to take place, recognize the day-to-day needs of the organization and give so that we can continue to improve and expand our ministry year-round. If you have give or have given to YMI thank you so much for your contributions.
Our aim is to use your contributions in a way that maximizes the amount and quality of ministry we do as an organization. We take the stewardship of God's provision for us very seriously. Every time you gave in 2008, over 90% of your money went to the training and sending of mission teams filled with young people and adults. This meant that each person who gave played a significant role in sending out participants in the mission field. For each participant you sent, just under 9 children came to Christ. Know that your contribution is making a tremendous impact for Christ around the world.
