A Time of Spiritual Growth

"I am amazed at how much my son has grown from only 5 days of training. He is growing and blossoming like crazy! I fought back tears as he shared with me some of the things God spoke into his heart during the training camp. This is what you always hope for with your kids, but when it actually happens... it is breathtaking. Thank you for taking time to answer all my "worried mom" questions. It is nerve racking to entrust your child's safety to someone else, especially traveling overseas. After talking with you, then seeing the results of the training, and sensing the spiritual depth of all involved I feel assured my son is in very good hands. I can't thank you enough for being spiritual miracle-grow to the seeds we've planted with hope and prayer since he was born. I truly thank God for you and all that you sacrifice to make this journey possible for young adults like my son. It is life changing to be sure. We can't wait to see what else God is going to do in our son's life through this experience!" - Karen F., Kingston, WA

This is just one example of what parents have told us after their students have come to our Training Camps to prepare for an international trip.

As parents, you desire to see your children grow in their knowledge and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That's why you're at this website now. We are here to provide you with another opportunity to accomplish just that. Our desire is to see your youth put their Christ-centered faith into action, deepening their faith commitment and growing a desire in them to reach out to others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ at home and around the world.

Why Mission Trips?

We believe the mission field is not only on the other side of the world, but right in our own backyard as well. That being said, we also know that the experience of training, preparing, and going on an international mission trip stretches youth out of their comfort zone to the point where they need to depend on God. It is in this setting that they see God do amazing things through them and their faith grows.

"During one of the ministry days, I was appointed the 'go-to' guy to make decisions for the day, sort of like the full-time MC. I was having a real hard time making those decisions because I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings by making them think I didn't value their input. After the day, we had our debrief time where we went over the day and what we did right and what we could improve on. Afterward, the missionary we were working with was talking with me through our translator; he was saying that he was very much like me when he first began his mission work - very timid and afraid of offending. However, God still used him and worked in him to change him into a more decisive man, able to be used by God in ways he never thought possible. So, I thought it was amazing that God confronted and challenged my doubts about my own personality through a missionary halfway around the world."

Information for Parents

We recognize and honor the trust you give us when we train and send your child on one of our mission trips. We know that it is not easy, but we also know that when you do entrust us with them for this short time, God will do some incredible things in their lives. God does the work- we simply provide an opportunity for that to happen.

We invite you to download and look over our Parent Booklet. This outlines our view on safety in the field, our philosophy on choosing competent leaders for your youth's trip, and how we pick mission sites around the world.
